The 2024 Four Roses Small Batch Limited Edition is non-chill filtered and bottled at 108.2 proof. This Small Batch LE release features four different distillates that were hand selected and range from 12 year old to 20 years in age. Four Roses Distillery famously uses 10 bourbon recipes, and the 2024 blend includes of 12-year-old OBSV, a 15-year-old OESK, a 16-year-old OESF, and a 20-year-old OBSV bourbon.

The unique blend of this year’s Small Batch LE produces an aroma on the nose of sweet brown sugar, honey, and a creamy vanilla note. The palate follows with tasting notes of ripe berries and tangy citrus. The smooth finish is completed with herbal notes and the signature mellow spice that is a staple of Four Roses releases. Overall, you can expect complex but balanced layers of sweetness to go with a robust 108.2 proof that isn’t overpowering.
Where To Buy Four Roses Small Batch Limited Edition 2024
The 2024 Limited Edition Small batch release will be available to purchase at two locations. Four Roses Distillery Visitor Center in Lawrenceburg, KY and also at the Four Roses Warehouse and Bottling Visitor Center in Cox’s Creek, KY which is just outside Bardstown.
The 2024 Limited Edition Small Batch Bourbon release date is September 14, 2024 and supplies will sell out! This is a first come first serve situation, therefore no reservations needed and no official lottery to sign up for. The gates to enter each location will open at 7am and each respective Visitor Center will open their doors at 9am through 4pm EDT. No overnight camping is permitted, but there will definitely be a line. This limited edition release is limited to 1 bottle per customer.
The Four Roses Small Batch Limited Edition 2024 release will consist of approximately 16,000 750ml bottles in the United States with a retail price of $220. The Small Batch LE release will also roll out to select retailers across the country within the Four Roses distribution network. Therefore, it should be noted that all 16,000 bottles will not be available at the Four Roses locations on the release date. A small fraction of that allocation should be expected at the distillery and bottling locations, however no definitive number is available.
